A data processor is a company that processes data on our behalf. Here is the list of those we use, and what each one receives.

Hosting provider: OVH

OVH is a French hosting company. It provides us with:

  • the virtual private servers (VPS) that host the site and our customers' studio servers;
  • the object storage that holds the image gallery of paid accounts;
  • the management of the domain name.

Payment provider: Stripe

Stripe is an American online payment company. It acts as merchant of record: it takes the payment, collects and remits the taxes, and handles the fraud, disputes and support relating to payment.

With this arrangement, your purchases appear as “Sold through Link”: Link is a Stripe service. It is Link that sends you the receipts, invoices and refund emails, that lets you track your orders, cancel a subscription or change your payment method, and whose support handles the requests relating to payment.

When you pay, you are redirected to a payment form managed by Stripe. We send it your email address, an internal identifier of your account and the plan chosen. Your name, billing address and payment method are entered with Stripe, which alone manages them: we do not see them. We keep only the identifier of your subscription at Stripe, the brand of your card and its last four digits.

Backups: Dropbox

Every night, a copy of the site's database is placed on a Dropbox space reserved for us. Dropbox is an American company.

Sending of emails

The site's emails (address confirmation, password reset, account security, support) are sent by our own solution: no sending provider is involved.
